Do you see Magenta Motion or did I drink too much Summer Spritzer?

Here are a couple of polishes I picked up recently. I purchased Sally Hansen Magenta Motion during my huge Big Lots haul. It’s a shimmery raspberry pink that is just so pretty to me. Even though I usually don’t gravitate towards pinks, this one called out and demanded to come home with me.The formula was really good for Magenta Motion. Like most of the colors in the Sally Hansen Insta Dri line, it's practically a 1 coater and would probably work well for stamping.

Fergie Summer Spritzer is one of the new polishes released for the summer by the Fergie by Wet n Wild line. These are all seem to be new additions the Wet n Wild family, unlike the original batch of colors that got released. The majority of the polishes in this collection are glitters, so I had a hard time passing them by. I ended up picking up a few when they were on sale a couple of weeks ago, including Summer Spritzer. Summer Spritzer is a cheerful mix of gold, green and magenta hex glitters in a clear base. This polish really makes me think of Mardi Gras because of the color scheme.

Dude, Where's My Duochrome? Fergie Ferguson Crest Syrah

When I saw Ferguson Crest Syrah at the store, I was immediately drawn to it. Why? The polish displayed a beautiful gold duochrome effect in the bottle. I'm here to tell you,though, that it's a total lie! >:(>:(  There is no duochrome effect to be found in this Fergie brand polish. At all. I feel so let down, and hope others can avoid disappointment because of this review. It's definitely a beautiful color in its own right, but I bought Ferguson Crest Syrah for its duochromeness. Fergie Hollywood Walk of Fame

Hollywood Walk of Fame is probably the  most buzzed about polish in the  Fergie by Wet n Wild  collection. It's multiple colored large star glitters in a clear base. I can't think of any other polish from a major brand that features large star glitter, which is probably why this polish made a big splash with us polish addicts.

I actually did not purchase this polish for myself, but borrowed it from Esmeralda Pearlfinish, who loves glitter and stars. I only had a short window of sun when I took these pictures, which is why they're way less than perfect. However, I figure it can't hurt to put some more images of this polish out there, and maybe I'll reswatch it the next time Esme and I have a polish get-together. I've already told you that most of the Fergie by Wet n Wild colors are repackaging of other Wet n Wild products. However, there were a few colors that are unique enough that I decided to add them to my collection. Here is one of them, Tonight's Gonna Be a Good Night, a black and gold glitter. I layered it over the China Glaze neon, Sun Worshiper. As you can see, TGBaGB is mostly black glitter with a few gold hex glitters thrown in. I don't think it's the kind of polish you could build to opacity, based on my experience with it. Join me for more pictures and details, after the jump!

Here are the few Fergie polishes that are NOT repackaged Spoileds, as far as I can tell. I am by no means 100% sure about this, though, do please correct me if I'm mistaken. There are 9 colors I'm fairly sure are new. Please forgive the quality of the photos, I did not purchase most of these so they are mostly taken at Walgreens with fluorescent lighting. Also, I didn't get the names of all of them and I missed one of the colors I think is new in my "group" shots.

Fergie by Wet n Wild polish display, long version

I was lucky to have learned all about the new Fergie by Wet n Wild polishes after reading this post over at Nouveau Cheap. Since one of the commenters on that post mentioned seeing the display in San Francisco, which is an hour away from me, I decided to look for it at a nearby Walgreens. I lucked out and it was there! The first piece of important information I'd like to share about this collection is that there are 2 displays! The one I found at my first Walgreens was the full display, with 5 rows, while I've seen it at another Walgreens in a shorter display with 3 rows.Here are some pictures of the shorter display.

Note that the two displays have different polishes in different orders. I confirmed this when I found this post over at Citrine's Blog. She has row by row pictures of the short display that are better than mine. 

Another important piece of information about the Fergie polishes is that a lot of them are repackaged versions of other Wet n Wild polishes, but they're more expensive and smaller!
